Cowra Van Park

Great park close to the centre of town. The park appears very lush and green with the lawn areas immaculately maintained. Most slab sites have double slabs, and plenty of drive through sites on the grassed areas. Amenities are older styled but very clean. Situated close to to main bridge into town, highway noise is evident but not to bad. Overall a nice stay.

This is a really picturesque caravan park. Like most caravan parks it is right on the river but under a bridge and between 2 major roads in town. It is so leafy, shady, almost manicured. The grass is absolutely perfect, the camping area is beautiful. Everything is neat, clean, tidy and beautifully presented. Lots of thought has gone into the design of every aspect of this park. Have a look at the sanitiser in the dump point enclosure!! Even the positioning of the dump point is perfection itself. - The last thing you see on the way out. Plenty of room to manoeuvre a large vehicle with a large caravan, lots of shafed, grassy drive through sites. Most of the sites have 2 slabs 1 high 1 low, the sites are very level so you don't have to work too hard to level your van - even on the grassy ones. I stayed in a cabin with a Queen bed which has been totally renovated after all the cabins were flooded out. In two weeks they will all be completed. Beautifully presented. No wonder this place has lots of stars it is one of the best van parks I've been in for a long while.

Had a great stay in one of the powered sites by the river at this park. The camp kitchen is well equipped and clean. The location is great because you can walk to town and the Japanese Garden which is about 2km away, which is a must see. The office staff were helpful and flexible allowing us to move sites upon check in. There is also a large open sports park next door. If you're looking for a good food/drinks option check out the Cowra Club. It's not a night club, don't get too excited but they have VERY affordable beer/wine/alcohol and the food options are inexpensive and large in portion size. Better than some of the pubs in town.
